Kyocera Document Solutions, Inc., recently announced that the company completed its most recent ISMS Cloud Security Certification renewal inspection in September 2023. This is the third time Kyocera has gone through the certification renewal process since it was first accredited with ISMS Cloud Security Certification in 2017 as part of its efforts to bolster its information security. In 2021, Kyocera expanded the scope of its ISMS accreditation to include all its software research and development (R&D) divisions, a subgroup of its corporate R&D division.
With the increasing number of incidents involving targeted ransomware attacks across the world, Kyocera is focused on the continual strengthening of its information security management to ensure appropriate risk assessment to mitigate threats.
